Will my URL be submitted to ALL those sites?

No, our computers select only the sites that are appropriate based on the information you give us.

How do I know that my URL was submitted?

Some of the sites will send you a notice via email that your site was submitted or accepted, but we will be sending you a summary report of the sites to which you were successfully submitted. Expect between 200-500 emails for each URL. Please note that the major search engines DO NOT send any confirmation to you.

When will I receive my submission report?

Within 24 hours of your final submission.

Do you guarantee that my URL will be accepted by all the sites on your list?

No, there is no way that we or anyone else can guarantee that your site will be accepted into all of the sites to which it will be submitted. This is beyond our control. It depends on your sites readiness for search engine indexing as well as its content. We do guarantee that your site will be submitted for approval into EVERY appropriate site in our database. Generally, you can expect anywhere from 2000-2500 successful submissions for each URL. Again, this all depends on the content of your site and the information you give us. 

How long will it take for my site to show up in the search engines?

Search engine indexing times vary widely. Some are within 24-36 hours. Most search engines including the majors like Altavista, Infoseek, Excite, Lycos, HotBot, Northern Light, Google etc. take at least 2-4 weeks. Others take even longer. Yahoo takes 6-8 weeks to add your site if it is deemed appropriate for their directory. 

How often do you refresh the list of supported sites?

The database is updated weekly, sometimes twice weekly or as needed.
