Waldorf Fruit Salad 

     Peel and chop 1 of each: Apple, celery, pear. Place in bowl with 5 fresh cherries, 3 sliced strawberries. Add dollop of low-fat mayonnaise and dash of lemon juice. Sweeten with Ki-SweetTM. Serve cold. 

     95 calories, 1 g fat 


     Blueberries and Cream 

     Add a pinch of Ki-SweetTM to skim milk thickened with non-fat dry milk. Pour over1 cup of fresh blueberries. 


     Chocolate Silk Pie 

      A decadently rich chocolate pie that combines the goodness of soy with a sweet tooth favorite. It's the best tasting chocolate pie you will ever taste, and it's a snap to make. Ki-SweetTM replaces a whopping 1/2 cup sugar in this recipe! 

1-10 oz. Pkg. of Chatfields Chocolate Morsels* 
1-1/2 pkgs. of Mori Nu Lite Tofu (or 1/2 cup water and 1/2 
cup of Heartful GourrnetsTM Crerner) 
1 tablespoon Ki-SweetTM 
1-9" baked pie shell
     *Chatfields Chocolate Morsels are refined sugar free (sweetened with barley malt) and dairy free and are lower in fat- available in most health food stores. If you cannot find, substitute with your favorite brand. 
 

      Directions: In medium size microwave safe bowl, place chocolate chips (morsels) and microwave on high for a minute or two (just until melted- do not bum). Cornbine melted chips with tofu and Ki-SweetTM in blender and puree until smooth and creamy. Pour evenly into baked pie shell and chill. Serve chilled with whipped topping, if desired. 


      Old Fashioned Date Bars 

      You can use cooked dates or start with the date filing. Either way, these bars are great and especially festive during the holiday season. Perfect for the sugar restrictive on your gift list, also. 

l-Canned date filling or 1 cup chopped and cooked dates blended with 1/2 cup water 
1-1/2 cups Quick Cooking Oats 
1 cup whole wheat flour 
2 tablespoons Heartful GourtnetsTM Egg Substitute 
1 tablespoon Ki-SweetTM 
1/4 cup fructose (optional) 
2 tablespoons lemon juice 
1-1/2 tablespoons Heartful GourtnetsTM Cretner (mixed with 3 tablespoons water) 
1/2 teaspoon sea salt (optional)

     Directions: Preheat oven to 375 deg. Coat a 9x9" baking plan with nonstick cooking spray. In a small bowl, add the lemon juice to the date mixture and stir to combine. Set aside. In medium sized bowl, add all other ingredients except Cremer/water combination. Stir to blend. Add water mixture and mix with fork or fingers until crumbly. Pat 1/2 of the oatmeal mixture in the pan. Top with date filling, spreading to 1/4" of the pan sides. 

      Sprinkle remaining oatmeal mixture on top. Bake for 25 minutes until golden brown. Cool before cutting. Makes 18 servings, 54 calories, 1 g fat, 2 g fiber. 


    Chocolate Chip Power Bars 

      A fast and delicious snack bar that doubles as almost a full meal. The goodness of oats teams up with the chocoholic's favorite to make a wholesome combination. Try them, you'll love'em! 

2 tablespoons Heartful GourmetsTM Egg Substitute 
2 cups Quick Cooking Oatmeal 
1/4 cup Fructose (or sugar) 
1 tablespoon Ki-SweetTM 
1/2 tablespoon sea salt (optional) 
2 teaspoons vanilla 
2/3 cup chocolate chip morsels (we used Chartfield's) 
1/2 cup unsalted or lightly salted BeanutsTM (optional) 
1-1/2 tablespoons Heartful GourtnetsTM Cretner (mixed with 1/3 cup water) 
1/4 cup whole wheat flour
     Directions: Preheat oven to 400 deg. Coat a 9x9" baking pan with nonstick cooking spray. Combine all ingredients except chocolate chips in large bowl. Mix thoroughly. Add chips and press into pan. Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown. Makes 16 bars. 

      Ki-SweetTM baking tip: When baking cookies, cakes or muffins, it is best to start by replacing 1/2 of the sugar called for in the recipe with Ki-SweetTM. When making puddings or custards, you can replace all of the sugar in a recipe with Ki-SweetTM. 


    Sticky Apple Coffeecake 

     A fast ad delicious coffeecake that has a secret! Start with the Heartful GourtnetsTM Sticky Buns mix-it speeds it up and makes you seem like a kitchen wizard. Try this recipe the next time you have company or for a special breakfast treat everyone is sure to enjoy. The flavor blend of cinnamon and apples is hard to beat! 

2 chopped baking apples 
l-Heartful GourmetsTM Sticky Buns Mix 
1-1/2 teaspoons Ki-SweetTM
     Directions: Preheat oven to 375 deg. Coat a 9x13" baking pan with nonstick cooking spray. In a medium size bowl, prepare dough according to Sticky Buns package directions. Sprinkle 1/3 of the bag#2(cinnamon/fructose mixture) on the'bottom of the pan. Add the bag #3 mixture (soy nutlettes) to the dough and mixing. Spread dough evenly in the pan. Add the Ki-SweetTM to the chopped apples and mix. Place apples evenly over dough and top with remaining cinnzmon/fructose mixture. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Serves 8 . 

    A few other creative and healthy ways to use Ki-Sweet: 

Sprinkle cinammon and Ki-Sweet on a baked sweet potato 
Sprinkle on a grapefruit 
Blend KiSweet with Whey To Go and a little water to make a very low calorie, fat free creamer. 
Make a syrup of KiSweet you can carry in a small dropper or squeeze bottle. 
Great for use away from home, in restaurants, etc. Just place several tablespoons of Ki-Sweet in a saucepan add boiling water a little at a time until it is just dissolved. Cool and put in suitable container.
