Hydrochlorothiazide is a thiazide diuretic which is a water pill that helps prevent your body from absorbing too much salt, which can cause fluid retention.
Formulation – Hydrochlorothiazide is formulated using hydrochlorothiazide, colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinized starch and sodium lauryl sulfate.
Hydrochlorothiazide is a drug that belongs to the Thiazide diuretics drug class, and it has been found useful in additional to its main prescribed use to treat High Blood Pressure, Edema, Diabetes Insipidus and Nephrocalcinosis. Side Effects / Precautions
The side effects that can be experienced when taking Hydrochlorothiazide include constipation, diarrhoea, dizziness, nausea, loss of appetite, and headache.
